brake press. switch
I have seen , either here or the early V8 forum, that some guys are replacing bad brake light pressure switches with a pressure switch from Harley-Davidson. I thought I had written the part # down, but can not find it. anyone know what the part # is ? The switch on my avatar has gone bad, and I need a good quality switch to replace the one on the car. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.--- Jim

This is from my posting on the HAMB:

Cost in August was 16 bucks plus tax shipping included.

Re: brake press. switch
I am using the Harley Davidson brake light switch on the car in my avatar, but I don't recall the plastic package having a part #. I got it at the counter of a bike shop here in town.
But other folks here know what it is. That's how I got turned on to it. |

Re: brake press. switch
Ron Francis has a hyd. , low pressure switch , DOT 5 compatible, so they say. It does have different connector but comes with its own connector.

The only problem I see is the switch using GM style terminals. I know I have seen this rating switch using FORD pins. SOURCE - https://www.ronfrancis.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SW%2D32

This is the one I'm using, works well, trips at a low PSI.
