First, thanks for all of the replies and suggestions.

Since I don't have an engine hoist, I decided to go the easy route and grind it all down and use an epoxy again. This time I used Belzona 1212 with some fiber mesh as a patch. Supposedly much better than JB Weld.

So far so good... although it doesn't look pretty but she runs and that's all that matters! If I can get another 10+ years out of it with no leaks, I'll be shocked.

Good Job!! Sand it and paint it. Most people will not even notice it these days...

Side note, looks like you have a lot of sediment in your sediment bowl.

I think you did the right thing, provided you do not take the car on long trips. Here's the thing... you just can't get anyone to do work right any more.
