Default 1930-31 Cabriolet binding tips for Loctite trim

I have lost track of progress on these to know if they have been made by anyone and available to purchase.

I need a set for my top install and wondered if any are available at all now? I didn't find them in the swap section recently.

Thanks

Yeah I could use these myself. Best I recall, Bill Underwood was going to give it a go to try some repros but last I heard he wasn't happy with them. This was maybe a couple years ago (I lose track of time)? Maybe he can report in.

It was me that was attempting to make/get them made
My attempt at dies was not acceptable
I’ve found no one that can/will make the dies
The project is very stalled.....maybe dead but not in the ground yet.
You’d think with all the technical innovations..3D printers and all..
And I was attempting C not B

I chased Bob Anderson’s dies as far as they went. And no luck.
Terry Deters did his cabriolet and he doesn’t have the dies. Gary Johnson helped and we just hit a dead end. Gary had gone to Bobs after he passed. Been a long time
Probably in a dump or scrapped
John Hash was going to give it a try but the retired machinist he was counting on came up with issues
