Default Rear Lower Trunk Panel

Does anyone know if any of the vendors sell a Coupe rear lower trunk panel with the correct arch built in? I've looked for an original but so far no luck. On a 30-31 coupe this panel is taller in the middle by about a 1/4" compared to the ends. I believe most of the reproduction panels are straight across both top and bottom and need extensive work to fit properly. TIA

That would be nice. More to the needed shape then just the top edge though.

Try Bert's. They have a lot of original panels. JP

I’d check with Bert’s on an original
However, I am currently completing a buck/template to make them correctly
Made a first run yesterday and have to make some minor adjustments
These have the correct arches etc. I have several originals to knock off from
Should have them in two week if all works out. Will be $95 plus shipping to wherever
These fit 28-29 coupe and all cabbys
If any interest get back to [email protected]

Had a problem with repro panel being straight across the top. Could't find a good original replacement, but did find a bad original from which I took the top reinforcement bar and spare tire reinforcement and installed same in place on the repro panel which solved the problem.

I tried the same thing. It sorta worked but the repo I had was too short and the gap at the base of the deck lid was too wide
That’s why I went the path of making them
We shall see how it goes
