Please be more specific - which "Ford Gray"? And are you restoring a 9N/2N or 8N? If a 9N/2N, are you going back to the original "battleship"/dark grey monochorme look used from '39-'47, or the "redbelly" '48-'50s 8N look that dealers loved to use to make the older tractors cosmetically look like an 8N, which used an olive-grey on the tin and Vermillion Red on the engine/running gear? Plus there's different grays used from '57-'62 and '63-up, with the '60s Grey being almost whitish. I have Ford M-#'s for all of them but won't be able to post until tonight.

For wheels (rims and centers) and wheel weights, I used a spay paint color that matches, pretty well. The color is pewter.

They used the 9N tractor engine in the 1941 pickups for a bit but it didn't pan out well.

Bought some great parts from Dennis Carpenter and the quality is really good. Went online to a couple places and good response for help.

Bought paint also from Dennis and the color is almost perfect from the original. Good stuff !

Thx....Mike

Also in the Ford GP jeeps, along with the Model A transmission. That combo didn't make it to the GPW.
