Default Yblock help - MN

I have a running 57 country sedan wagon with a stock rebuilt 292 and fordomatic trans. Is there anyone in the Twin Cities (MN) area who is knowledgeable with these yblocks and who would be willing to meet with me, and my wagon, in person to answer some questions I have? I'm actually out of Rosemount.

Thanks!

Josh

Josh,
I live between Lakeville, Prior Lake.
I have a 56 Ford Victoria.
I've been working on cars for over 50 years and I have a lot of Y block parts around the shop. I have a Fordomatic on my work bench right now.
I'll PM you my contact info.
Don

Hey Late Model... How did you get started in the automatic transmission game? About a year or more ago I almost had to disassemble my 1936 Plymouth streetrod to replace an ailing 350 engine, and a 350-THM. I know for the THM-350 there are two specialty tools I need to buy, but I think I can rebuild my old THM-350. I am pretty good at fixing things, and figuring out how they are surposed to work. I have a video, and also have a pretty good manual from when I was a kid that shows a picture with each step outlined. I bought a TCI Streetrodder package for my car, and it came with everything except converter bolts, and the new lines I made up.

Am I asking for trouble, of should I sell it for a core, or junk it?

Where would I get parts beyond a basic rebuild lit for the thing, if I need anything?
