Default Front Motor Mount which side face engine

Installed the front motor mount but not sure which is the part to face engine.
Its the 28 -29 forged style. Photo shows how I have it in now but not sure if correct.
2nd question how tight to make nut . even with bolt bottom or tighter ?

You have it correct and you tighten the bottom nut until the hand crank lines up, then slip in the cotter pin, then tighten the rear motor mount to flywheel housing bolts.
