brookville - coupe panel
Has anybody here fitted a brookville trunk lid for a 28-29 coupe. Is it close enough for a driver or are there obvious flaws with the panel. Getting good coupe specific sheet metal in Australia is hard as coupes are a rare body style here.

Re: brookville - coupe panel
I have not fitted a Brookville trunk lid on a coupe. I do believe that there is a slight difference in the bottom edge of the lids. Original lids have a chamfer (about 1/4") inward on original trunk/rumble lids. I believe this was to provide clearance from the panel below the lid when used as a rumble lid. The repros I have seen do not have the chamfer on the lower edge. If you are planning to use the lid as a trunk, I see no problem with a repro lid. If you plan to have a rumble seat, you may encounter a problem. Hope this helps.

Re: brookville - coupe panel
I am curious to know if the brookville lower edge of a rumble lid is flat and straight across, no curve, so will cause all sorts of problems unless used with a brookville lower deck straight across panel.
