Wipers
Where to get a complete Wiper Kit for my 33, Right/ Hand drive.
Lawrie got one but it parked in the left hand drive spot ?. Kpar |

I never realized Wipers were handed . I have twin independent 34 Vacuum
(ex USA) wipers and Both park to the right Not in the way when parked and the swept area is perfectly adequate . Will be interested to hear if originally RHD is different -Karl

Based on the chassis parts catalogues of the period (that list RHD components, such as those of Ford of Canada), the wiper motors were the same for both LHD and RHD and therefore parked in the same position. For most body types that parked position was to the right, with a few parking on the left.
That the wiper motors were same is logical since both LHD and RHD vehicles' routing of the vacuum lines was the same. |
