Default 27 T truck with original bed frame ?

Hello and I apologize in advance if this has been covered. But I searched and could not find anything in forums. So I purchased an original 27 T cab and body and need an aftermarket frame. I have quoted thru speedway and Spirit on the frame. Both told me the frame is designed for the aftermarket fiberglass bed not the original steel. So I guess my question is 2 fold....

Who and where could I find an aftermarket frame that fits my truck? I have looked everywhere so obviously not in the right places.

Thanks in advance

You might check the Model T club @ mtfca classifieds for a frame. Are you wanting the larger Truck TT frame, or the car frame? There should be some build forms on the Hamb on building a t frame. not a lot to them. square tube for the rails and front and rear cross members.

M.W. Miller and P.J. thanks for the replies! No it's just the standard T truck bed and cab. It does have the hinges at the back of the cab for rear seating. I was told they came like that in production so they could be changed out.

I have access to an original t frame but I want an aftermarket for strength to handle a small block motor and safety. I know they can be boxed and used with original frame. But I am not a welder and just seems it would put me ahead on the build if I got an aftermarket. It could be cut and lengthened to accommodate the bed I suppose.

That's my main concern with the speedway frame that my bed would have a lot of "hang" over on the rear end.

I have several TT cabs no room for a rear seat. Are you talking pickup bed, stake bed or express bed. There is a good bit of over hang with any of the beds.

Fordbarn'ers deal mostly with stock cars and trucks. From the sound of things that you have posted you might be a better fit at;
https://www.jalopyjournal.com/
Jalopy Journal is the hot rod/custom build section and is under the same ownership as Ford barn.
Would still be interested in seeing the photos of what you have cause not sure what you are meaning by seat and hinges.
