Although it would be more at home in a 1930's parts store, I stumbled on to this in one of my parts purchases 3 years ago.

I will be selling these, mostly on the AACA Forums, as they aren't FORD, for the most part.

I remember those, used them for awhile but I think they are way post-30s.

Thanks. For the time being it is stored inside with a bunch of parts. There is not currently enough room in the shop for it to be displayed. I barely have room for the KRW tool cabinet and the Firestone receipt desk. Rod

Mitch, I don't remember any of it either. Likely because I was not born until 1970. Rod

My memory of long long ago is spot on but ask about yesterday or even last week and I'll be 96.6% with no idea and actually, I prefer it that way for so many reasons. I'll bet you a pound to a penny, many here feel the same way.

I was raised in a small resort town on Lake Michigan. In the late 40's and through the 50's in the Sinclair gas station, was a key that had been cut in half and each piece was welded to the end of a long welding rod. when someone would inquire about it, the owner took great pride in telling them that you stick it up an elephant's --- to unlock it's trunk.

We used to change fan belts and wiper blades right at the gas pump and, if you had 10 minutes, we'd move your car aside, change the upper or lower radiator hoses, and fill the radiator back up with fresh anti-freeze or water. We were highly skilled at draining a hot radiator without getting burned.

At Chiefs' Conoco station, he made BIG bucks, doin' REPAIRS ! Gas profit, was "maybe" 2 cents a gallon. Momma I were "CHEEP HELP" & ran the pumps. Uncle Mutt would help us on busy Saturdays. Chief was the ONLY one in town that fixed BIG TRUCK tires $$$$$$$$'s & the only one with a FAST BATTERY CHARGER! Yes, I'm older than DIRT.
