Default Hard steering

Hi guys, looking to replace my bias tires on my 35. Thought I would go with Coker radials but someone told me it would make the already hard steering even more stiff. What do ya think?

Yes they will but only really noticeable at parking speed.
You can upgrade to a 37 type steering box, this will be lighter and better. Do a search, it's a real common swap.
Martin.

The original tires on these early cars were very thin almost like motorcycle tires. Whatever you do go with the thinnest proper tire rather than many new tires made for these antique cars are which are too wide. The wider the tire the harder it will be to turn the wheel, because of increase in road friction to exposed tire area.
Here is a link to the thinnest and probably closest to original 1930's tires I could find.
This tire is 17 and I think your car needs a 16 so check for what is available.
