Default Tried searching, epoxy primer, red oxide tint?

I'm just at the body work stages of doing my 28 roadster and looking for recommendations on epoxy primer,
but would like it to have the factory dark red oxide appearance does anyone have any brand preference or mixing formula (tint) any help would be appreciated greatly

I would go to an automotive paint store and have them tint the epoxy primer. They can also give you the proper hardener for the temperature you plan to apply the primer.

DPLF Epoxy Primer comes in 6 colors; DP40LF (Gray–Green), DP48LF (White), DP50LF (Gray), DP60LF (Blue), DP74LF (Red Oxide), and DP90LF (Black).This is a PPG product, used the black on my Model A and green gray on a Buick. You can mix different colors to lighten or darken the red oxide.

Go with the SPI. You will thank yourself for it. The PPG DP products are outdated garbage compared to the modern epoxies on the market.

We did that on my Dads to match the base color for the wood graining on the trim pieces. Got a Qt. Of SPI red and Qt of black to darken it up some. After several trys got a great match to what was left of the orig. paint left on the trim. Even the guy doing the wood graining wanted to know what we used for the base color as it had great color and was good to work on top of
