Default Signals

Ok Guys.Same old question with a different Idea.My turn signals are just to slow and to dim.I have the ones from SNYDERS that goes in between the bumper bars. I know the answer is probably needs more RESISTANCE.When i put the hazards on they are not to fast and they are good and bright.Dont really want to put a lot of extra bulbs in the system.New angle is can i put some kind of a wire wound around something(COPPER,CARBON ROD,PLASTIC or something and if so WHAT?This issue is driving me NUTS.In the daytime they are just not good enough.T.I.A. Is the problem because you are using cheap bulbs that do not pull enough amperage (off-shore made)? One would think that cheap thin-filiment wire inside the cheap bulbs would make them brighter. Maybe it has something to do with a cheap flasher? Have you tried an electronic flasher?

If I were you, I would contact BJ or Casey Miller in Shandon, Ohio who are likely the ones that own the company who made your signal set. They purchased the company about 3 years ago, so if your unit is older than that they may not have been the ones that actually built it originally but they are great to deal with and can probably help you sort it out. I use their kits and am very happy. Good luck!!

Is your car 6V? If you have 12V bulbs that may be why they are dim. Also there are flashers, usually for LED's, that are no load that may take care of the speed problem.

So the Swede Swevndolyn has a blow-out and she pulls over to the side of the road.
She gets out and opens her trunk and two burly fellows in trench coats jump out of her trunk and immediately take positions at each end of her disabled car.
With every car that speeds by they open their trench coats to expose themselves.
Soon a cop, mad as a hatter, demands an explanation!
"Oh" Swevndolyn says. "Those are my emergency flashers."

skip. Again Hold Control Key Down and Tap the + key to enlarge so tired old eyes can read the print. Have fun with this. Hold control down and tap Minus - to decreas in size.

Skip I've been using computers since 1994 and I have never seen the "Cntrl +" used in IE before. That is really cool!
