Default Power steering in a '54 Merc

What's involved in converting my '54 Merc to power steering? Does a setup from any other Ford or Merc from the same era fit, or must it be '54 only? I've just installed radials and am expecting more difficulty in turning and parking . Thanks : Bruce

Way to go. I can't understand people driving on cross ply/ bias tyres. The steering will be heavier but not a problem really. Steel belted radials are lighter to drive on than nylon radials. If you keep them inflated to 32 psi, you really don't need power steering.
Welcome to a car that handles
