Default Replacing rear qtr window

What is best to use to reset glass in Rear quarter window frame to seal it? It appeared to be some sort of rubberized window channel in the original.

Here's what you need. This is the rear 1/4 window of a 40 Ford coupe. Call Drake and see if he now has it in stock. Also, check with other vendors below. Don't know if Carpenter has it. I also used the sealant shown, although some say it's not required. That was in 1988. Still holding.

A SEARCH revealed this helpful information about the seals.

Are you rear 1/4 windows fixed ,or pivot. Drake lists both styles. $100 a pair for the pivoting.$45 for the fixed.

Putting the glass in the swing-out rear window frames requires glass setting tape. I had to try a couple of different thicknesses to get a good fit on mine.
