Default LED Tail Lights for 36 6 volts

Interested in any comments on Mac's LED Tail Lights for Ford “1933-36 Passenger & Sedan Delivery, Stainless Steel Body, 21 Red LEDs”, left Part # 32-14660-1 & right – Right Part #: 32-14654-1, $64.99 each. Other possibilities?

Have 1936 6 volt Ford. Main interest is in brightening these lights. Do these Mac's lights just fit inside stock shell? Any issues, other recommendations?

Thanks.

A friend has a 36 packard, it came with every type of taillight bulb--- several types led, halogen, regular, all were dim, tested the voltage at the socket and was only 4.5 volts--- kept working my way back and found the voltage loss, the nuts on the ammeter were rusty, once the nuts were replace it didn't matter, all the bulbs burned bright. The previous owner had even replaced the wiring harnesses for this problem

I can't comment on anything "macs", I haven't bought anything there for over 30 years, and that got sent back--- don't know what it is like now

If the Mac's LED tail lights are made by United Pacific...they are good quality. I just replaced the "teacup" tail light on my '30 Ford with an LED unit from Bratton's and they were made by United Pacific. They were 6V positive ground. I also replaced the 12 volt tail lights on my '32 Sedan a couple of years ago with the United Pacific units purchased from Rodworx in Lakeland, Fl. Very nice stuff. Pat

If your grounds are good and you have the proper voltage at the lamps, you won't see a discernable difference between LED and regular filament bulbs.
I swapped one side so I could make a fair (visual) comparison in a darkened garage. I could not detect any difference whatsoever.
