Default Unfilling a 1932 Ford Grille

I picked up a really nice grille shell for my '32 project. Only, it's been filled and I need an unfilled shell. Can I buy the piece to fix it? If so, where?

Thanks!

I bet you would be better off swapping for one with an opening. Try a wanted ad.

you can just drill the screw holes for the trim and cap & bolt them on over the filler part. i've done it - easy!

The fill might be obvious to undo. if not swap maybe. Depends on what you can do.

There is more than just drilling the hole on top unless they just filled the hole. Many end up reshaping the top of the shell before filling.

I checked my stash and must have sold the piece I cut out of a Vintique stock style shell to fill it. Sorry. Try running an ad on the HAMB for that top piece.

Thanks for the input. Stock, unfilled units just don't seem to pop up that often around here. I'll try for a trade then graft if that won't work. Thanks.
