Default Sealer for Roof Insert

Hello, I'm putting in a new roof insert on my 29 town sedan and would like to know what would be the best sealer to put on it. I'm not looking forward to this and I want to do it right the first time. Thanks for your help. Bob

I am not an expert on tops but the fellow who did my Standard Coupe fabric top insert used this:

DAP Dynaflex 230, 10 Oz size in a "caulking gun tube.

Eddie has been doing work on all kinds of cars for 50 years and is good at it.

Lowes and big box stores carry it.
