Let me know Phil or Jim when your coming by and I’ll introduce you to my friend John. I heard they filmed this, but hadn’t seen it yet.
Thanks Bob!

I don’t have cable.

To the Alaska car guys: Give us a sense of what you consider to be length of season for driving your collector cars. In Alberta, we would say mid-April through almost Halloween. Is yours similar?

Pretty much the same here, I drove my AV8 last on October 22nd. We are having a really warm march(50 yesterday, high twenties at night) so I was thinking of taking it out this weekend just to set a new record for me. Problem is making it out of my driveway with a one wheel wonder!
Also have to be really careful, melted snow puddles in the evening become ice slicks in the morning. But the main roads have been pretty good, now where I work you almost need 4wd.
I’m sure you guys in Anchorage have yours out by now.

Here in upstate NY I still have 2 feet of snow in my front yard(doesn't get much sun), the dead end street is piled up about 6 feet, be awhile before it all melts, we could also get another 4-6 inches according to the weather man, it's all ok as my cars still needs some more work done on it.

I’m usually still out riding the snowmachine (snowmobile) in April so I don’t get the cars out till May here in Fairbanks. Try to get things tucked in for winter by the end of September. I’m just not as hardcore as Ralph.

Here in Palmer ( outside of Anchorage ) Alaska. I would say the earliest I get my cars out is the end of April to the 2nd week of May depending on weather. I also do not usually take them out until we have had a good rain, because of the salt used on the roads in the winter. I like to let the rain wash some of it off the roads. I usually put the cars away any where from the end of Sept. to the middle of Oct. just depends on how early the snow comes. I try to get them off the road before it snows , as I store my coupe in Anchorage , because I have a shortage of inside storage at my place.----Jim

here are a few guys with their cars out this week here in Anchorage. With the mild winter i think that we will be about 1 month ahead of the norm.

Well I made it out this morning, a little challenging getting back down the driveway. But roads were good. Almost 5 months to the day since I was able to drive it last. Pretty good for Fairbanks, this is almost like April weather.
