Default OEM grease zerks on 31 Slant

Trying to grease a 31 SW with org. grease zerks. Been unable to get grease in through them. Is there a trick or special tool?

My truck has modern fitting and no problem greasing with hand grease gun.

Thanks

Most of the suppliers sell an adapter that screws on to your grease gun to replace the tip that is there. Snyders part number is 335032. Alternately you could use the original gun supplied with the car.

Heat the fitting and part to be greased so the old rock hard grease softens.
