That's the style I have been looking for for a good while! I have at least one or two each of the other variations but the early one eludes me

Hi Luke: plant badge 003 (Medium).jpg
I found my in the 1980's at Hershey during the " mud & rain " era. It was raining so hard I walked into a large tent to get out of the rain for awhile. The owner asked I was looking for and I said Ford stuff. He walked over to a display case and pulled out the early brass Ford badge.

His price $10.00 Sometime it is better to be lucky than good.

I am just looking for the later badges that were issued after 1931, ,ainly because the earlier ones are out of my price range. I am looking for an employee bedge and tool tag from the Omaha Plant. I am sure they are out there but I have never seen an empolyee badge and have only seen one tool tag.

Thanks Arestorations

Even the 1937-63(most common) style is starting to climb in value. The smaller the plant the more rare the badge. I suspect Omaha is going to fall in this category.

A search of the web shows Omaha plant opened in Sept. 1915 and closed in 1936. That may or may not be accurate.

..
I am looking for the ones similiar to the pictured ones above which I believe were introduced in or shortly after 1931.

Thanks

Compare it to this original- The repro has a rounded top on the radiator shell, the checks are larger in the radiator portion. Also there's no identifying mark on the back as to maker. There's other differences but these are some of the major things to look for.

The fake badge in question-

Luke, that is neat!
I have heard that the commoner type with the Plant , boat & 'plane stamping can be dated by how the pin is attached. Earlier from 1937 has pin directly attached to badge but later ones have the pin attached to a bar which is bonded to the back.
Is this correct, & does anyone know the dates of change?

Here is a photo showing the two styles of pins. The top pin I think is the earlier style.

No one has mentioned the "FORDSON" badge. Here is one example.

Fordgarage: The J1125 looks like a 1931 Model A Ford radiator shell. I have included a picture of a similar one I purchased on the bay from the United Kingdom.badges 007 (Medium).jpg

The Ford store token allowed you to buy from the Ford store. Just a guess but I think they were near Ford factories when they were not located by a major city. Here is Canadian version. Gary in MN badges 005 (Medium).jpg
