Is the bottom glass channel for the window glass the same for a 28/29 CCPU as for a 28/29 coupe or tudor? I believe the regulators are the same for a CCPU, coupe and tudor, so the glass channels are probably the same. My concern is the doors were originally for a 26/27 model T, so maybe they use a different glass channel. Could someone enlighten my as to the glass channels that the arm of the regulators fit into?

Rusty, those channels are unlike any of the other A's. See this -

Thanks for the response. I now remember seeing the thread you gave the link to, but I forgot about it. Do you have the metal strips that go on the bottom of the glass or did you have to purchase new ones? Mine are a lost cause. It looks like 28/early 30 pickups used unique glass metal channels, not like coupes or tudors. I bought a repro metal channel for my 28 special coupe a couple of years ago and it wasn't even close to what original channels looked like - I didn't use it. I guess I will need to look for a couple of original metal channels for my pickup.

Hi Rusty,

I recently purchased originals from Berts.

I have been told that the repro's look pretty good but have not seen them myself.
