Thanks for posting Ian. I was unaware he had gone (I've been watching the paper the last few weeks as I knew it wouldn't be long when I saw him last month).

Trev told me he was having a private farewell....typical Trev doesn't like a fuss. Well old mate you've now been released, I know that's what you had been waiting for and it will take the pressure off Val, which was your biggest concern.

Yes Val rang while we were away at Cambridge swap meet and said he is having a private farewell on Monday. As per his wishes , staunch no fuss , he had had enough suffering. We will be thinking of you ol buddy tomorrow. Will get the 32 3w out as per your request Trev and take in some memories in your old haunts, and give the flathead a good rev out.
Who am I going to talk to now to sort out my problems , who is going to call by and pull my mistakes apart and say " get it right you will regret it" and will miss your visits regularly when you and Val visited to get vegetables from the local gardens. Sorry Trev no one to shoot the bull with now.

Very sad to hear, but some touching tributes from those that knew him well.

The inevitable has finally come to pass. I have many good memories of times spent with Trev over the past 30 years or so. I will miss his regular cheerful phone calls, his straight talking advice and genuine concern when things were not going well. I will miss him. Hard on Val.
