Default Fat rendered Fords - definition

Been hearing the term for years but not sure what years, models it covers.
Should be "fendered" I hate those automatic spell checkers.

For me, it is the '41-'48, when they went to a two piece front fender. Now that is one fat fender.

It's the ones with the Fat Fenders! Tex Smith defined them as 35 through 48 (like V8COOPMAN said) and that's what I've always thought they were.

I remember reading something about this subject. It was suggested that as the fenders got fatter, the windows got smaller, increasing the rate of fender dings.

Same here, I always thought they were a little less graceful as the previous years. But I like them, they kinda grow on you!
