I joined in 2006 if I remember correctly. I can't remember if Shelly was running it then.
My username is the same.

Keep V-8ing and 4-banging!

It have a V8 ford engine. I do have spark to distributor, spark plugs, coil, and ignition module. I do have fuel to and in carburator and have checked the Inital Timing countless times. It has started on about five occasions but shuts off after 30 seconds to a minute and won't start again for a while. Totally lost on the cause. I'm hoping someone on this form can help me or point me in the right direction..thanks in advance. .

I have been here a while, came here from the old ClassicCar.com flathead forum...where Rumbleseat posted his west coast adventure that was published in Rodders Journal...

Yeah, I was here pre-Shelly - and also a refugee from the Classicar forum which then kick-started the archived 32-53 flathead forum of Bill Bently where you can find rumbleseat's stuff and the great techno site.

I've been on the internet since mid '99, not sure when fordbarn started as we know it. There was a lot of shuffling around when it all came together.

While we are reminiscing, what was the name of the gent with the 35's who passed and Shelly put his name at the top with the flag?
I'm sure Old Bill's name was added later as well.

I thought that was a great gesture. Loved that site & was sorry to see it closed

I joined sometime in the late 90"s, I think it was 98 or 99. Don't know who was running it then but I found countless information from all of you. Thanks, Mark
