Default Radiator back from shop today!

All- just a picture of my radiator that I took to the shop yesterday. It cleaned up good and the guy at the radiator shop said that he was surprised at how good a shape it was in. Cost me 48.00 to have it boiled, cleaned, small leak fixed,Ralph

$48 vs. a tow home? Money well spent in my book.

Had that similar thing done in N. Cal. It was a bargain at $130. Maybe should move to Georgia ??

When I was in the Marines a garage in the little town of San Marcos near Escondido rodded out my radiator and cost me $7.00. That was all the money I had. As I got ready to leave he told me to "Stop." I did and he showed me where my inner tube was just beginning to show through a tire. He put a used tire on that was the best one on my car and sent me on my way. when payday came I went back and paid $5.00 for the tire. Could have knocked him over with a feather when I actually reappeared and paid. (1956)
