Default Body Mounts

Were different frames/brackets used for different models? I have a 31 Roadster and the 2 bolts ahead of the door post do not both hit the frame bracket. The bracket has 2 holes but only one lines up with a body hole. The other bolt does not hit the bracket at all.

They moved the bracket to the rear 2 3/8" in September 1930.
See figure 18 at the link. http://www.plucks329s.org/pdf/frame/..._assembly2.pdf

When the went to a one piece splash shield in late '30, they moved the frame bracket back to gain access for the front splash apron to fender bolts but they did not change the hole location in the body sill. The two rear body sill holes line up but not the front body sill bolts. The rear bolt goes thru the splash apron and the frame bracket, the front bolt only goes thru the splash apron.

Thanks very much guys! I believed that the frame and body that I have were original to each other but couldn't figure out why the bolts didn't both line up with the holes in the frame bracket. This solves the mystery for me and allows me to continue with the assembly/restoration of the car without wondering if something was incorrect.
