'40 Ford cigar lighter socket
As most of you know, when a radio is installed in a '40 Ford, a shorter cigar lighter socket is required. Otherwise, the longer socket will interfere with the radio install. Does anyone know where a short socket can be purchased, i.e. any condition? Thanks.

On occasion these are offered on eBay. A NOS one typically sells in the neighborhood of $50. They are not reproduced.

May be able to find a 12V "power point" from a newer car to install, especially if you don't use the lighter or modify a longer lighter for looks.
