Default Head ID help please

I drug a pair of 21 stud cast iron heads out of the shed that have been there for years. There are no numbers on the outside face. Just the Ford logo.Near the water pumps and facing the intake are the numbers 7-15-40 (left side) and 1-26-39 (right side).Any ideas as to what year these are? I'm guessing 33-34. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like replacement service part For dome or flat top pistons? 33-35 would be flat top and domed for '36.

Good guess if they are for use with flat top pistons. The casting dates are typical of post-production service parts.

A picture of the chamber side, will tell if they are FT or Domed heads.

I've been unable to post pictures lately. The combustion chamber is heart shaped with the bottom cut off. Another description is that they resemble a red delicious apple cut in half. Years ago I soaked them in vinegar for a few weeks to remove the rust then coated them with Ospho. I did the same to the intake and exhaust manifolds.
