Default Jim brierley 2

I started a second string since the original got so far back it wasn't being read.

Jim is doing much better as of yesterday Oct 30th. His breathing tube has been removed, he is sitting up on the side of the bed, he is starting to talk and started his first therapy.

OUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING. KEEP IT UP.

Cards can be mailed to his home

News today is Jim is doing better and better. He is eating well and has therapy several times a day. When he gets tired he rests and is right back at it.

It is expected he will be transferred to a rehab neared to his home next week.

Doctor says not to expect 100% recovery from stroke but he is making remarkable progress.

It's working! Pray God blesses Jim with a quick and complete recovery.

I visited Jim Sunday morning. There is still a swallowing problem but he is a fighter and keeps at it no matter how long it takes.

His mind is sharp as ever and his voice a bit low due to the throat problem but he can carry on a conversation just fine. He wouldn't tell me those secrets he left out of his book.

Lets intensify our prayers so he can swallow and build up the strength for transfer to rehab.
