Default Happy independence day

I would like to wish all of you a happy and safe Independence Day and to thank all of our veterans for their service. Without them, America would not be the land of the free.

Oops ... Sorry about the lower case in Independence Day title. Pushed the button too soon.

On the way home from St. Louis today I heard this on NPR. I both chilled and cried. I have never heard this wonderful piece before. This is a fine reminder of our patriots now and all before them.

have a happy and safe July 4th

Photobucket wasn't working today so this came from my Facebook post and is much bigger than photobucket's would have been. If it doesn't fit your screen and you want it to do CTRL - (minus) and it will shrink.

Funny, it works for me. This is the story of the American Flag by David Gibbs, Jr. from Seminole, FLA. When I Google the title, I get the story.

When I copy the above YouTube and paste it works fine.

There is a big military exercise 60 miles up the road,21000 US and Aussie troops in town, some of the US troops went into local schools to explain the significants of the day,was on the local news.
They are having an open day next week,we are going in the 33.
I though about putting a US flag on the 33 but only have a small confederate one,and I,m sure that wouldn,t do.
