Default 1937 Ford Rear Seat Removal

How is the rear seat of a 1937 Ford Fordor attached? I have never removed it. How is it removed? The upholstery is original and I don't want to stress it more than I have to by experimenting. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

most Ford rear seats bottoms can be removed by pulling up on the front of the bottom cushion (hard) to disconnect from the floor. Then pick the entire cushion out. The back usually has two bolts at the bottom and pick up to remove from the package tray edge.

You usually need to push the bottom of the cushion in, (a little persuasion with the knee), prior to lifting as there is a kind of hook in the hold down clips.

Persuasion is also often required when reinstalling the seat bottom.

Yes, push the lower front edge of the cushion frame rearward and up to release from 2 hooks. May require hard pushing rearward. You may have to position yourself on hands and knees on the rear floor to muscle the cushion free.

Removed this seat today. Unfortunately nothing interesting was found--not even a wheat penny. Only some old acorn shells and a mouse skeleton.
