Hood Latch

I'm restoring a 1938 ford standard coupe does anyone have a diagram of how the hood latch to Grille parts go together. I have all the parts just not a picture

I had a look at the early Ford Factory Parts Manuals and I couldn't find a clear view of hood latch/assembly.

Perhaps somebody could post a pic of the grille/hood area?

P364 of the green chassis book from 1949 shows the diagram of parts but not the assembly so look at the 39 Std. in the Chassis parts book from Feb 1940.

I didn't think the std and deluxe were the same?

The 38 Standard hood is different than the 38 Deluxe and 39 Standard.

I have posted four diagrams above. Ignore diagrams that do not apply. The 38 Std. hood LATCH assembly gets put together the same as the 39 hood Latch assembly, both cars use exactly the same parts except for the top handle to rotate the latch?
