unfortunately it has the 40 front end and not the 39. Do you know if they can be easily swapped?

Front fenders are "almost" the same from 39 Delux and 40 standard are the closest, with the 40 Delux having a slight difference. To make a 40 Delux a standard you would need the 40 Std or 39 Delux hood and the 39 Delux or 40 std grille (the 39 Delux being more expensive with more chrome), mounting pcs, and chin pan. I believe everything 40 Delux will work from there ...

The dash is very different from the 39 delux to 40, and the 40 Std dash is different than the 40 Delux via different gauge clusters and a bit more chrome on the dash of the Delux.
