Default Engine Builder in SoCal

Does anyone out there have any input on flathead builders selling turn key enigines in the S. CA. I have already checked in with H+H and got a good base quote for a mild rodded engine. I want cost of bare block to turn key.

I have just comleted a B block with balanced crank.
new pistons, babbit, valves with a c head. I live neare Ontario airport in Calif.
I also have 2 outher B blocks that have counterbalanced cranks that need to be rebuilt.
The rebuilt would be worth about $3,000.00
The need to be rebuilt would be worth about $ 1,000.00 each
All are set up with the cut off B pan with an A flywheel housing! (Drop into any A )
If interested reply!
Thank You!

Besides the ones already mentioned (Mike's, Taylor's, H&H), there are the 'independent' guys... A couple that come to mind - Jon Roberts (Azusa), and the guy in Ventura (can't think of name at this moment). I could come up with more, but why not ask fellow EFV8 club members in your area? Maybe Charlie Stephens will chime in here?? If your in SoCal RG, or Valley V8's, just put out the word... Should be easy to find someone close to home.

I have had work done at Taylor and they are really good. It is a bit slow so you should be able to work a great price too.

I would have commented if I could have added anything. Taylor Engineering used to be the best but the owner died and it is under new management. I assume the quality is the same but haven't heard anything. Have heard a lot of good things about H&H recently. H&H used to have problems but they seemed to have corrected them. I am not sure where I will go with my next one so I am neutral on a recommendation. I look forward to seeing more comments on this topic as I have the same question.
