oil drip
My 31 coupe has always dripped a little, just noticed last couple weeks no drips after oil change, filler cap has been pushed down to far is only thing i can think of any other opinions.

Bit of a stab in the dark but did you change the oil grade by any chance?

One concern may be: Roughly, how many quarts of new oil were added after draining old oil? |

Ok yes they mark their spots:-) but YES the fill cap needs to breath or they can build up pressure and leak!

It's out of oil!!!
Old Harleys, Aircooled VW's, and Old Fords only stop dripping when they have no oil in them.

My car went from a steady leaker to hardly any when I changed them amount I add after an oil change from 4 1\2 quarts to 4 quarts.
I keep the oil around halfway between the two lines. Marc |

Hey I think most 84 year old's drip a little --even Model A's.
