My 29 Tudor was smooth at idle but vibrated bad at 15 MPH and above. Turns out the center babbit was completely gone and laying in the bottom of the oil pan.

Torque the rear main bearing bolts....Your comment about setting up a bolt...and how it feels to your arms is the only method I know of. I do not have a wrench that works magic in the limited space there is to work in. And you are right...after many engines, your arm knows you are close on the torque. Good Day |
