Default transmission install 39 ford

Is it easier to install transmission separate from engine on these closed drive shaft Fords. My other truck which I put the engine in is 47. THANK YOU for any advice SUNSHINE

Always easier to do it with engine and trans attach, IF and only IF, you have the radiator/grill off the vehicle. Otherwise your gonna' crunch something.

Installing the trans seperately is ok but, you need to hook the drive shaft spline before sliding the engine back onto the motor mounts.
