Default How to adjust windshield frame-'38 Ford

I posed this question on the EF v8 forum; no responses yet. My '38 windshield isn't adjusted correctly and I've been hesitant to pull the original, thin headliner down to access the hinge adjustment. I finally "bit the bullet" and exposed the hinges and have the adjustments loose. My question now is about the adjusting process. Is there written instructions? Do I get everything centered and tighten the windshield against the opening with the regulator and then tighten the hinges? The correct process would be helpful.

Thanks for any insight.
