Default Engine turning for 33 dash insert

Looking for a vendor at Hershey that does engine turning. I spoke with one a couple years ago but have misplaced his information.

Try FPM in Fairbury Nebraska. They do extensive engine turning on all sorts of metals with all sizes of circles.

There was a vendor that did engine turning and nickel plating. If I remember correctly they also did Buick parts.
I'd like to find that one specifically but haven't been able to figure out who they are by the vendor list.

Doug Seybold in the Chocolate field is the Buick specialist who does the engine turning on nickel plating. His spots are CO 9-12. I have had 3 '32 Ford gauge panels done by him and I am very satisfied with his work. The pattern he uses is one I supplied to him. I got it by scaling the patterns of original 32 panels. His service does not include the the finish flash chrome plating. He says his plater can not do that with out losing definition in the engine turning pattern. Fortunately I have a local plater that can chrome the panel and retain the engine turning.

I have a friend who used a vinyl engine turned like decal on his 33 Ford dash insert and I thought it was the real item. Go figure. I think I found the site he used for the vinyl engine turning http://www.hotrodworks.net/decal/dash.html

He also does the proper nickel plating on hand brake handles and shift levers.

Don't know if he still has them, but Bob Drake had new '32 panels both with the stock cut outs AND blank ones.

Agree with Sixseven. I had my 33 done by Eamonn Keogh at the Engineering Department, University of California. You can contact him at http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~eamonn/et/et.htm. Very professional service. I attach some photos so you can see his work. My original dash insert was plain. After he did the engine turning I had it chromed (second photo). The last photo is from Eamonn's web page. I think it is a very accurate reproduction. Hope this will help you.

Refinishing the engine-turned instrument panel on 32s was covered in a 1971 article in the V8 Times (the June-July issue). The article included a diagram of the most commonly-used engine-turning pattern.

The same fellow MIRoger talked about just did our 32 insert, not sure who did the plating part but he did a beautiful job.

Another beauty, but I must say, my question relates to a car w/out the panel cover.
