1930-1931 Dlx. Roadsters.

1931 Dlx. Roadster with the rear mount spare looks best, by a nose

I have ridden in Marco's roadster. You wouldn't believe idea how nice that car really is. That day in his garage, I also photo-documented the car inside, beneath, and out.

Took a short video during the trip in Marco's roadaster, mainly to record the sounds of his car in motion to get a benchmark for some future projects. I keep that video on my smartphone and watch it now and then with the sound up just to remind me of how a properly restored Model A is supposed to sound.

Was never much of a roadster fan until that trip we took in Marco's roadster. His car was a LOT quieter than other roadsters I have been around, and really changed my opinion.

I still prefer coupes with a trunk instead of rumble seat. My friend Bob has a 29 business coupe with a trunk. LOTS of room in there.

Tied up between a steelback Victoria or a slant windshield Fordor.I don't own or have ever owned either one.I don't much care for a straight windshield Fordor or a puffy top Victoria.

28/29 Phaeton with dual side mounts, no tire covers, black top/wheels/tires/trunk, top down... no contest.

The attached picture (not my car) is close to perfect, just take off the tire cover and add a better trunk.

That's my humble opinion.

1929 Sport Coupe.

I accidently picked the best body style available when I bought my car! The 1929 Sport Coupe. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, but I don't think I could have made a better choice. Three years later, I'm still happy as a puppy dog.

Thanks for the link. I'm not a member, but you may want to correct the photo that claimes to be a 1929 60C Blindback, in reality it is an early '28 cowl vent equiped 60A Fordor. Bob

I would have to go with the 1931 Cabriolet 68C also. Could have bought one in high school for 400 bucks but I was too lazy and stupid at the time to take advantage of it.

I would vote for A-400..convertable sedan...not only is it practicle..roll up windows, but it is good for at least four people touring..closed or open car...Dick

'29 Cabriolet, Steel-back Vicky and '31 SW Cabriolet. In a fantasy world, the '31 Prototype SW 3-Window Coupe. Back to reality... never met a Model A I didn't like the looks of. Fun thread!
