Default radiator firewall- to -shell rods length, etc.

Have an original nice '31 s.s.shell which fits perfectly to a new Brassworks
radiator. The question is how long are the '31 support rods supposed to be ? Mine are 25 3/4" from inside dome end to radiator threaded end, with 1 1/8" long threads ( @ radiator end) . I could use another 1/8" to 1/4" of threads to get the radiator / shell top a little closer for more even hood alignment.
I'm not sure if the hood is original but fits pretty well all around.

If some one has original hood/radiator support rods, would appreciate dimensions for overall length and length of threads on radiator end to compare to what I have.

To the best of my knowledge mine are original and are 25 7/8'' long with 2'' long threads & my front nut is flush with the end of the rod.

Keep in mind the threads are tight tolerance. Do not chase them with ordinary tap and dies or use hardware store nuts.
