I'm looking for an original no rust, no bondo, 1937 two door slant back sedan. An unrestored original or amateur restoration is preferred.

Re: 1937 Ford Slantback Tudor Sedan
I'm sure you wouldn't be interested, but just in case...I was/am working on a 36 slant. It was a running/driving vehicle when I started. Currently it is completely torn down. The frame cross piece has been replaced with one from Flat-O to accept a c4 tranny. I have collected numerous original pieces, (some hard to find like the inner panels for the motor ect). I have a freshly rebuilt 21 stud with aluminum heads and a dual carb aluminum intake and 2 rebuilt strom's. The entire new floorboards had been "tacked" in when I got it. Have all the new sheet metal for any rust that needs to be replaced, (rear lower lip, cowl corners ect). Have the original seat frames, nearly all the trim work, complete steering column, dropped front axel with disc brakes, (out of a 39)...problem is...with all that I have collected, plus the original price for the car, I have 12K into the project already, and it is still in pieces.

Re: 1937 Ford Slantback Tudor Sedan
I didn't want to make the post too long so I split it. The car is all orignal, all steel. The rear fenders are rough, but repairable if you are a metal worker or have one. My problem is I have too many projects, (38 chevy stake body all original I drive around in the summer, a 48 chevy PU all original, (drivable), that I haven't even started and the 36 Slant). Because of my job(s), income, and not knowing how much time I have....there is no way I can finish all 3 to the level I would like. The two trucks are in decent enough condition I can leave them to my daughters as investments. The 36 was to be a Grocery Getter for the wife. If you are at all interested let me know and I will send all the pics/info you want.
