Default Cruising to the Back the the 50s Show

I will be going out to the Back to the Fifties Show in Minnie/St Paul right after attending the Goodguys Show in Springfield, MA. What I'm planning on doing is taking my time and hopefully hook up with other Barners/HAMBers along the way.

My plan is to stop in the Cleveland,OH area on/around June 16-17 and then Rockford,IL June 17-18. I am willing to step off of the interstates to get there. I will be in my avatar so u never know if I will need some help in some kind of repair.

Looking forward to hearing from some of you. Also, please let me know of any nice B&Bs in the area so I can make a reservation .....

I'll bet, sure wish I could ride shotgun... Just as usual, too much to do... Hopefully we'll see you at the Moonshine Festival in October.

I will be going to the BTTF'S show, not sure if I'm taking my car yet, might be riding with my uncle. I can tell you this though, it is one of the best if not the best show going. Attendance the last few years in row have been larger than the NSRA Louisville nats and the Goodguys indi. I believe last years car count was shy of 14,000 cars.

Live in Oshkosh, Wi. About 1 1/2 hr NE of Madison, Wi. if you care to make a side trip. I'll also be going to the 50's. Leave Oshkosh on Thursday the 19th. Jack.

Be prepared to be "over-whelmed" looking at cars. Been there many times. Used to be venders from all over the country would show up--but the MN tax department got greedy and ran them off. There will be many, many quality cars there to see. Have fun.

Tom and all Barners, be sure to stop in at the TCRG-V8 Club site during the BTTF Show. We will be located in the north part of the Fairgrounds, next to the Owl lot with a small sign that says "Early Ford V8 Parking" and two 10x15 white canopies. I'll have a name badge with "Fordbarn" on it. I'm looking forward to meeting all who can make it to the Show!

Tom,
Don't know your route from MA west but if you get over this way stop in.
And good luck on the trip. Butch

Butch - I'm assuming you are not going to the show. I really would love to hook up with you but let's see what goes down then.

Send me your cell phone and if the opportunity presents itself, let's hook up ....

Be good,
Tom
