How to tag a swapmeet ad SOLD
I have noticed there seems to be no way to delete ads in the swapmeet nor to tag them SOLD, but I have noticed a few are able to tag the ad. How are you doing this?

Re: How to tag a swapmeet ad SOLD
I don't have any ad's posted and haven't tried this but it might work.
If you can edit the 'Title' of the original post, type in "SOLD" as the first (or last) word. If there is a 'Go Advanced' button at the bottom of the text box with your original ad, that may be the way to get to the small box / line for the title. |

I just went and played-around with a test ad on the Model T forum. Placed an ad describing "Test FOR SALE" article. In the description, I put "Test FOR SALE". I hit "Submit Reply" to post the ad. I then went back and clicked on the ad again. As the ORIGINATOR, you (I in this case) have the option of "EDIT" button. Hit "EDIT"! Now, just below, you can click on "GO ADVANCED". Click that GO ADVANCED button. Now, you can change the title to "SOLD", "KISS My Butt", or anything you want, and you can also change the description of the article down below to "SOLD", or whatever you want to say. It works! DD |

Re: How to tag a swapmeet ad SOLD
Once your AD is so old (maybe a month or so) the EDIT button goes away.
You can click on the Reply button, in lower left corner of AD, and make a reply stating that item has been SOLD. .

Sal, I think most people looking at most any ad, keep scrolling down till they will more than likely see the post below, and then read any of the text you write there. OR Just Click on the REPORT button close to the bottom left of ad, and tell a Moderator that you want your ad REMOVED for what ever reason. Good Luck. .

Not true! I just went back to that Model T ad that I placed earlier. Pushed it "bttt" twice. I was still able to EDIT any of the three posts, including the original, plus the header. As long as you do the changing while the "EDIT" function is still available, AND you use the "Go Advanced" function, you can change the header, OR the descriptor to anything you want.
