Default Windshield question

We have a 30' Sport Coupe in the shop being redone. The windshield frame is badly rusted all along the bottom, doubtful it can be repaired. Any suggestions on where to get a replacement-good quality??

Thanks!!

Steve Becker is your source for used. As you are likely aware, the steel frames are out of production. The aluminum frames from Snyders require a lot of work to fit, but can be made to work.

I had two excellent Model A windshield frames a couple years ago. I advertised them on Fordbarn and got almost zero interest. I took them to our club swap meet and got the same result. As I recall I sold them on eBay and the people that bought them chopped them down for street rods. I try to price my items fairly, but no one saw it that way except the hot rod folks. Now they are essentially not useful on a standard Model A, but they are being used. Had I known they were going to be chopped, I probably would have kept one for myself. They were really nice, no rust out and no extra holes.

What is a good price for a windshield frame? I bought one in Hershey a few years back, it has no rust , broken windshield, lots of holes for every wiper motor known to man. I paid $110 asking price was $125 what do you think?

I haven't seen a good original frame sell that low for many years.
