Default 36 ford pickup juice brakes conversion questions

I have a 36 ford pickup with a rusted beyond repair frame and a 39 ford deluxe complete chasis. i would like to combine the two and use the 36 e-brake setup and the 39 juice brakes. is it possible,any tips,pointers or advice that would make my life easier. thanks

This is exactly what I have done. The Handbrake bolts to the gearbox via a bracket, you just have to run the cable to the attachment which is actuated by the handbrake lever. You will also need to remove the body brackets in the center of the outside chassis rails.

If ya are gonna swap frames, what are ya gonna do about frame numbers/title, or should we maybe not go there? Just so you keep that little detail in mind. DD

the frame was rusted in two pieces didnt have much of a choice.
i have a clear title for both so im not to worried about that

The handbrake lever attaches to the rear mount, it is different(36) than later trans ---you will have to decide what mount systen and brackets in the X member you are going to use ---that will dictate what E-brake lever ----or you make whatever fit by making new brackets

i saved the x member out of the 36 frame. also saved the e brake lever and all the rods. i assume i would not reuse the rods and just hookup the brake lever to the 39 cable setup?
