What are all the rubber hoses, tubes, braided tubing? My B racebmotor sure doesn't look like that. Tell us more.

Sump system....tank in front of motor. Cooling systems yes,two systems. Crysler marine heat exchanger is main system. Second cooling system 85gpm cools the first system down. That's mostly what you see.
Works very well.

Hey both you guys, what Injectors you runnin?

Wick, don't know what electric water pump you are using, but be warned, the Stewart Components pump can't handle the RFI generated by the open ignition. There doesn't appear to be any RFI shielding.

By the looks of the tennis balls on the roadster stacks, I would guess 2" enderle or hilborn.
You can see the barrel valve in the first pic. Cannot tell if Fuel or gas.
If you look closely at the stacks on mine, the greenish glow inside are tennis balls dropped down inside, 2-7/16" throttle bodies, old Parker castings opened up. Running EFI on gas.

Cool looking setup kinda looks like a half of a old injected hemi from back in the day. Let us know how it does. What are the expectations as of now?

Last year ran 149 flying mile with 157 exit speed in the lakester.
This year hopefully faster, added more gear.

A lot of the results will depend on the course condition, so far Ma Nature seems to be cooperating.

With everything going on with the Salt, I intend to visit there every opportunity, you never know how long it will last.

Out of curiosity, how much of it is Ford original manufacture? Looks like the block is. Not being critical, interested in how something like this is built. Is there a build thread anywhere?

Original Ford parts, not many. The output here as about 250 HP, not many original parts are up to the task. I am sure that there are build threads, I do not provide any. While it is not secret, to a point it is, it is really just addressing the issues.

There is more information over on the HAMB site, usually a monthly Banger motor thread where more of this is discussed.

Not to start any trouble, this site here is geared more to the preservation and enjoyment of the Model A and I respect that, more than I can explain.

Most of the knowledge comes from the "Glory Racing Days" of years past, too many Gentlemen to list but you know what I mean. Technology has progressed in many different directions and the application of such really takes its toll on the Original design and manufacturing limitations.

A few Racing organizations have produced guidelines and rules to Embrace the Vintage Racing Ideology by requiring the use of an original Manufactured Block and dimensions (with tolerances).

Thanks, John
PS, Wick, will be looking for you on the Salt, adult beverages in tow.
