Default help with v8-60

Working on 1937 ford v-8-60 need help with floating rod bearings. Placed bearings in rods, seams to be ok. but when torque down they will not rotate inside the rod crank is .020 under

What size is the inside of the rod (originally 1.7995-1.800)
What size is the crank --for .020 the book says-1.578-1.579(52 type that should be in a37)

what size are the bearings---Ford made bearings that are oversized on theoutside---both .004, .008-----if you are using NOS bearings what are the letters stamped in the oil groove

The bearings have to have the proper "spread". Don't know what it would be for a 60 but I've done 85s with full floaters. Need to use a mallet to tap the bearing shell either on the end or in the middle to get the right dimension.

best I can tell in side of rod 1.800
crank 1,578
No. in grove reads Ford usa L1 or-11
takes better eyes then mine to see for sure.

L is in the book as .020crank, std rod

I am lucky to live in Santa Rosa, meet Vern about 20 years ago. When I saw his shop it was like stepping back in time crazy place every thing you would need for your old Ford.
